Project for Heart For Africa

Things are starting to change. In a good way. When I was first presented with going to Africa I thought, hmmm, okay....God did give me a confirming word about this type of thing. So, I went. It was a wonderful trip and at the very end we were all asked, "so how many of you are coming back next year??" Many hands went up. Mine was not one of them. I thought, well, this was a great trip, but I do not feel convicted to go back really. But I would really love to keep in touch with the church I worked with there and the pastor.
Before I left Swaziland I presented one of my songs to HFA that was written about children with Aids. A song I wrote 12 yrs ago that was totally forgotten about on my part.
After I got back to New York, I got an email from Janine Maxwell. Janine invited me along with many other musician/songwriters who are already affiliated with Heart For Africa to take a trip to Georgia (HFA headquaters) and have a writing weekend to create a song for HFA.
Of course, without hesitation I agreed to go! Why wouldn't I? This is my dream. To sing and write music.
Needless to say, it has led to me going again next year to be a part of the worship with these musicians. Again, my dream. To be a worship leader and to travel the world.

Dreams..........

I guess they're coming true!
